Frameworks on are the mobile move

Recently, WordPress updated to a new version in which the back-end interface is now responsive for users on a WordPress site. While it has taken WordPress a while to release this feature, I’m definitely glad that they released it before the end of the year to all users. Ever since responsive design started trending in mid-2012, I figured that most frameworks were going to format to that style when moving forward in web trending technologies.

The trend of instant gratification has been a force driving technology to cater towards people always on the go. It has become a necessity to have the ability for users to create content on the go. When using a site on WordPress, it was harder to use on the back-end when the framework wasn’t responsive. The look of the interface has changed as well. With the inspirations of flat design, the layout is very clean and minimalistic. The usage of clean sans serif typography, flat icons and flat one color backgrounds make the interface very simplistic and user friendly. They also give you options to chose from in the back-end of themes.

Now that WordPress sites are responsive, it is much easier for people to blog, post and update their viewers on-the-go with what is happening with their business. Not only is it responsive, there are buttons to create new content and the option to add additional blocks of tools in your back-end dashboard. Though the framework does work responsively, there are still a few bugs here and there that will, I’m sure, be fixed over time to make the framework truly responsive. As this trend of responsive design expands, more and more frameworks will automatically become mobile friendly.
